Samurai Spirit (Samurai and Incense) in San Francisco

The Japanese American Association of Northern California is sponsoring a lecture and demonstration event in San Francisco, Sept. 12, 2009 about the use of incense in Samurai society.  The featured lecturer will be Mr. Kihachiro Nishiura.

It sould be very interesting as well as fun, which is  pretty much an unbeatable combination 🙂

These kinds of events do not come along all that often so if you can still get into the registration que, go for it.

Check out Japan Incense’s website  for more information.

See you there    -Ross

This was my first Koh experience and i must say it was quite amazing to me. A great way to spend an afternoon, learn a lot and yes indeed, get to sample some very nice woods.
Thanks for writing James, hope to hear more from you. And yeah, you got to wonder what a 1cm square piece of Aloeswood worth $2million does for one.

I was glad I made it; wasn’t sure I would until the last minute. And happy to learn about the two million dollar fragment of aloeswood, so now I don’t feel so bad about my incense spending habits.
