How much do you spend?

I thought it might be fun and insightful for us to try some polls here at ORS.  If we get a good response, I’ll look at posting a new poll every so often.

Our first poll is going to show us how much we’re spending on incense.  I have a feeling we’re in for some surprises!  Have fun  😀

Not out to a good start this year…already a little over a week into January and already spent $250 on incense. At least I have the excuse that the money came from annoying relatives who’d rather send money than visit for Christmas. Let my fiance spend $150 on Mermade, I spent the rest at Essence of the Ages and got some lovely Nu Essence blends. Neptune is simply a miracle of a scent. I think I like it even better than Mermade’s Cyprian, and that’s saying something! It’s also only $8, which makes it super affordable to stock up on.

I just went through all the Nu Essences over the last few months, there really are a lot of good scents in those. I don’t know if they’re all natural all the time, but they do a great job at their price range for sure. Neptune really is good, that one stuck out during my survey.

This year, over $1000, but normally around $600, unless I’m restocking my high end Tibetans or Mermade powders.

Ive only been buying incense SERIOUSLY since July so I will have to extrapolate…..cant vouch for the accuracy of my estimate. A couple of hundred bucks I think.

I’m not sure how much I spent last year, and I’m a little afraid to look back through my paypal history and find out…

Well said, Laurie! I’m afraid to look, too.

I decided it had to have been between 200-500 – since I’m confident I spent at least 200, but it would have been physically impossible for me to spend over 500 what with not having that much money.

Not sure the scale went high enough, polldaddy 😉

Given how things are going so far (12 votes), I think you’re right – we need another range or two above $1000! Unfortunately, I don’t think I can add that now without creating a brand new post. I knew there’d be some surprises!

I think anything about $1000 and I’d probably go into denial anyway lol. The next category should be “Needs help.”

Maybe we’ll need to start a group Janet 😀

              Mike,
I think I’m probably waaaay beyond groups – I’m probably at the inpatient level….besides, if we had a group, you know we would just talk about incense and totally make it worse!

I thought this WAS the group! 😀

What a terrible support group we are – we just enable each other!

                    Wait!
Didn’t Hamid just tell us he was a psychiatrist?

Yes, but since we’ve spent all our money on incense, could we afford Hamid’s services? Hamid, would you do group counselling for pro bono? 😉
