Kohshi in GQ magazine

Kohshi(Japan Incense) is listed in this months GQ magazine as ” best 25 stores around the world”.

Very cool and well deserved and a major plus for the incense community. I figure Jay and Kotaro are responsable for inceasing the awarness of the differnt incense available from Japan to a huge degree. -Ross

Congratulations Kotaro and Jay! And thanks very much for your contributions to improving the position Japanese Incense takes in America. Maybe someday we will see Japanese made incense dominate the American market, and the demise of the god-awful olfactory abusive fragrances 🙂

Koshi and Mermade Magical are my two very favorite purveyors of incense. Jay and Kotaro are ultra polite, amazingly helpful, very very fast and they always send a little something extra. I go out of my way to order from both of these vendors.

I know Essence, I’ve got some Baieido from you in the past. It’s just that over here we don’t have access to the more harder to get brands and temple incense like Sanjusangendo which I think is only avaiable from Japan Incense.
Btw, Essence, I also remember you from Alices Restaurant….good old days 🙂

Fantastic! And your expanded store looks amazing!
I agree with Doug Burkman- your recommendations have always been spot on and I’ve always felt you really care about matching an incense to my personal taste. Thank you!
Congratulations on such a stellar mention in such a well known and fashionable magazine. I hope it’s just one of many continuing tributes 🙂

It’s just annoying that Japan Incense don’t ship to the UK.
